Third season with these folks and the first one where I passed deer on day five that I would have shot on day one anywhere else. The stands are warm, the trucks run on time, and the guides actually know which wind each set needs. Took a 152-inch eight point on the fourth evening.
I came for the bear and stayed for the camp. Cabins on the lake, sauna after the sit, and walleye for lunch. My guide had watched the bait on camera for two weeks and told me exactly which bear would come and when. He was right within twenty minutes.
Hard walking and worth every step. We looked over something like thirty bucks across five days before my guide said the word about one bedded in a fold at 280 yards. Best-organised outfit I have hunted with on either side of the Atlantic.
